Well, welcome to one of FNQ’s newest and hottest venues!  The Barn, Rocky Point was absolutely somewhere we were keen to visit when we first spied her popping up on the good ole ‘Gram.

2022 has been a jam-packed season and, as luck would have it, we were able to cater not one but two events at The Barn.  And just wow.  If you haven’t been to visit yet and you’re in the market for a rustic but chic, wedding venue, this could be the one.  Not only does this venue look better in real life than in the photos, it even has beach front views for the most scenic ceremony spot, right on site.  The Barn itself is huge inside making it suitable for even the biggest party, with plenty of room inside and out.

High ceilings, a shady spot for welcome drinks (making the most of those sea views!) and very convenient on-site catering facilities for your chosen caterer make this a great choice for a wedding venue.

Tips and tricks:

1. With so many great hotels to choose from half an hour away in Port Douglas, your guests are sorted.  Consider putting on some coaches so they don’t have to worry about finding a taxi!
2. Although the views are magnificent near the beach, it can get pretty sunny and hot through the middle of the day.  Choose a later ceremony time- 3pm onwards to make sure no-one gets burnt awaiting the beautiful Bride- your guests (and Celebrant!) will thank you.
3. The venue is neutral inside-  perfect for those neutral wedding vibes that are oh so popular at the moment or go all out with some brights.  This is the perfect blank  canvas.
