Now our old girl is slow, and thirsty so we are quite limited in how far we are able to travel. Ravenshoe is right at that outer limit, but when I first spoke to Jamie I knew that this was one wedding we HAD to be at!

So last Friday, after 3 false starts (due to brake dramas!) we were on our way.

Pulling into Jamie’s Uncles’ property in Ravenshoe made it all worthwhile though. Teepee’s nestled under the gumtree’s for sleepy partygoers (and of course the Bride and Groom!) to retire to when the dancing was finished, bright sunflowers adorned every table and the beautiful Bride (and boy did she look beautiful!) arrived on horse back.

Not surprisingly, rum was the order of the day with a refreshing Mojito for the girls and Dark n’ Stormy for the boys going down a treat!

This stunning day was the ultimate Boho wedfest and as the sun dipped behind the tree’s and a cool breeze blew in-there was nowhere we’d rather be. Congratulations Jamie & Aaron!
